ANDREA MURRAY-SLINN
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, photographer Andrea Murray-Slinn was raised by her Dutch mother and Irish/Canadian father. After finishing high school, Andrea moved to Asia to work as a model. Her work eventually brought her to Europe, where she joined the Formula One circus and travelled around the world. After a number of years living in England and Monaco, Murray-Slinn moved to New York City, to study photography at Parsons School of Design. After receiving her degree, Andrea went on to work at the U.S. edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, first as an intern in the art department and then later hired, as an associate bookings editor.
Andrea also captured travel, portrait and event photography in New York, Toronto, Sydney and London. Working for clients such as Conde Nast Traveller, Hugo Boss, Alfred Dunhill and Purple PR. Before starting a family, Andrea also worked as a photo editor for REUTERS news agency and the Associated Press in London. In 2021, Andrea moved with her husband and two daughters, to Swiss village, just outside of Zurich.
